Hollyhill Gloria delivers elegant 5-inch Stella-form blooms featuring a refined color palette: pale pink petals that transition to golden yellow in the mid-zones, then deepen to rich dark pink at the core. Standing 4 feet tall, this variety commands attention in garden beds and excels as a premium cut flower. The intricate petal arrangement and multi-tonal coloring provide exceptional visual interest for both landscape design and floral composition.
How To Plant Dahlias
To get your dahlias started, pick a sunny spot with soil that drains well. Dig a hole, lay the tuber flat, and cover it with soil about 3 inches deep. Hold off on watering for now. Once you spot some sprouts and a few leaves, it’s time to water, but keep it gentle to prevent root rot. It’s a smart to put the stake next to the tuber at the same time of planting, so you don’t accidentally damage it later on.
As the season goes on, give your dahlias some love with fertilizer and insect sprays to help them bloom beautifully and grow strong. In the fall, dig up the roots and store them over winter.
