Cumulus Dahlia produces stunning 8-inch white blooms with the refined structure of a formal decorative form. This vigorous variety reaches 5 feet tall, making it an impressive focal point in garden beds and cut flower arrangements. The pristine white petals and architectural petal arrangement deliver classic elegance, while the substantial bloom size ensures maximum visual impact. Ideal for florists, gardeners, and dahlia enthusiasts seeking a reliable, show-quality cultivar. Here are the bloom sizes and heights from my garden.
How To Plant Dahlias
To get your dahlias started, pick a sunny spot with soil that drains well. Dig a hole, lay the tuber flat, and cover it with soil about 3 inches deep. Hold off on watering for now. Once you spot some sprouts and a few leaves, it’s time to water, but keep it gentle to prevent root rot. It’s a smart to put the stake next to the tuber at the same time of planting, so you don’t accidentally damage it later on.
As the season goes on, give your dahlias some love with fertilizer and insect sprays to help them bloom beautifully and grow strong. In the fall, dig up the roots and store them over winter.
